Redwood Uprising: From One Big Union to Earth First! & the Bombing of Judi Bari - 2014
Instead of asking "Who bombed Judi Bari?", one would be better off asking, "Why (were) Judi Bari (and Darryl Cherney) bombed in an assassination attempt?"
This book details all of the historical, economic, and political forces that flowed into this event and how it established a model for green syndicalist, class struggle ecology organizing in rural extractivist communities, in spite of the capitalists' every effort to quash it.

Renewable Energy is (Mostly) Green and Not Inherently Capitalist - January 16, 2024
Is renewable energy actually green? Are wind, solar, and storage infrastructure projects a climate and/or environmental solution or are they just feel-good, greenwashing, false "solutions" that either perpetuate the deepening climate and environmental crisis or just represent further extractivism by the capitalist class and the privileged Global North at the expense of front-line communities and the Global South?
This document argues that, while there is no guarantee that renewable energy projects will ultimately be truly "green", there is nothing inherent in the technology itself that precludes them from being so. Ultimately the "green"-ness of the project depends on the level of rank-and-file, democratic, front-line community and working-class grassroots power with the organized leverage to counter the forces that would use renewable energy to perpetuate the capitalist, colonialist, extractivist system that created the climate and environmental crisis in which we find ourselves.
Restoring the Heartland and Rustbelt through Clean Energy Democracy: an Organizing Proposal - April 29, 2017
I wrote this document in late 2016-early 2017 after the first time Donal Trump was (barely) elected President of the United States. Although I cannot claim credit for inspiring the Green New Deal, which became an inspiration after the Sunrise Movement and Youth vs Apocalypse conducted a nonviolent occupation of (California Democratic Senator) Diane Feinstein's office in 2018, this document does coincidentally offers some suggestions that the Green New Deal includes. Coincidence? It's not important. What is important are the ideas it offers.

This is a compendium of resources to help craft an effective resistance to MAGA, far right fascism, and the coming attacks on our rights, liberties, and persons.
This is offered as a toolbox. It will be periodically updated. This guide includes strategies and suggestions that include working within the Democratic Party, working outside the Democratic Party, using electoral strategies, and using non-electoral strategies. The strategies proposed here are strategically non-violent, but nobody should assume those strategies are intended to demobilize any organized resistance to Trump, Musk, fascism, authoritarianism, or anything related to the above. I don’t claim to have all of the answers or even necessarily correct answers (though I am confident that these are useful). This is an all-inclusive guide, not a political party or ideologically dogmatic manifesto, so please do not use this as ammunition in sectarian squabbles. We do not have the luxury of such hair splitting in the present moment.

Have you been subjected to the following myths about the war in Ukraine?
- The 2014 uprising in Maidan was a right-wing coup fomented by the US and NATO;
- The new Ukrainian government in 2014 "banned the Russian language";
- The Crimean people voted in a referendum to join Russia, which was an act of national self-determination, and Crimea rightfully belonged to Russia historically;
- There were popular uprisings of the ethnic Russian population of the Donbas, who established their own republics in an act of national self-determination;
- “The Ukrainian army killed 14,000 ethnic Russians in Donbas between 2014 and 2022.”;
- The Minsk Accords offered a just way out of the crisis, Russia wanted to implement them, but the Ukrainian government refused to implement them, encouraged by the US;
- The US and NATO are the primary instigators of this war;
- Russia is responding to NATO expansion;
- Ukraine was historically part of Russia;
- Russia is not an imperialist state;
- Putin is not a fascist;
- Putin is a socialist;
- Putin is anti-imperialist;
- Ukraine is controlled by fascists and Nazis, and Russia is involved in "denazification";
- Ukraine's government is dominated by the far right;
