Letter from Judi Bari to the Gene Lawhorn - ca April 14, 1990

Dear Gene,

Here's our tree spike statement and the big-city press we got. Local press in Mendo(cino) Co(unty) also did pretty well with it, both in placement and in getting the story straight. But (the) timber industry paper, the Eureka Times-Standard did the biggest butcher job we've seen with an article titled, "Earth First! vows to continue monkey-wrenching." (I haven't seen it yet; just heard about it).

I still haven't reached the highlander center but will keep trying. I'm sure you will be able to go.

Judi
