Show Notes by Nicholas Wilson:

Judi Bari and Alicia Littletree host Punch & Judi show on KZYX Dec. 20, 1996.

Judi says she is weakened by bad reaction to a cancer drug, so latter part of the show will be a tape on women in labor history produced by millworker and labor historian Gene Lawhorn with Leslie Helmstreet (sp?) for KBOO in Portland.

Judi seems bright and in good spirits and humor despite her saying she still feels effects of the bad Genentech cancer drug.

There are good issue reports by Robin Rule, Judi's neighbor on String Creek, who reports on the historic return of spawning salmon after decades of absence. Bill Heil and his partner Linda Perkins give a longish report on their efforts on behalf of the Albion Nation to deal with Louisiana Pacific plans to shoot herbicide pellets into manzanita trees on Albion Ridge.

Judi gives a spirited update on the Geronimo Pratt (ji jaga) hearings going on in LA.

The latter 45 minutes of the show is the Lawhorn/Helmstreet tape.
